Katie joined The Hervey Bay Boat Club crew, aboard Amaroo in 2022.
After a lot of hard work, dedication and study, Katie has worked her way through the ranks from deck hand and whale whisperer to Ships Master in lightening speed.
Katie was also invited by Tourism QLD. to join a specialist Young Tourism Leaders Group to educate schools, groups and visitors.
